We planned on hosting this photoshoot 2 months ago, but unfortunately, mr. weather man rained on our parade. errr let me rephrase that. There were signs of rain, and as most Atliens know, you can never trust the weather man. The shoot ended up being cancelled due to the thought of rain that never came. lol. So we waited and waited and waited. Finally, the first Sunday in August came around and sure enough, rain was in the near future. lol. This time around, everyone was committed regardless of a little drip or 2. Chad of Chadbee Photography brought his gear and got everything set up, from still shots to rolling shots to NOS Energy shots! We had a good amount of evo's come by and already had a few at the shop as well. Gotta love building a 2.4L 800+ awhp evo monster, but we'll get more to that in another blog. Evo owners started showing up around 1pm and continued to do so for the next few hours. Meanwhile, everyone was hanging out, chilling, talking, taking pics, and sweating profusely. I want to thank everyone who came out to show their support for EvoAtlanta.com, Chadbee Photography and ofcourse Zen Motors. here's a few of the pics taken during the shoot. if you want posters, hit up Chad. We decided to go and we are so happy we did. Granted, it was packed with Hondas, but is that really such a bad thing? We all started somewhere, some of us started with hotrods, some of us started tinkering with our first daily's, some of us started with 240s, and some of us started with Hondas. At the end of the day, the way I see it, we all share one common thing, we love modding our cars! Whether it is with taste or with your taste, modding a car is like shaping a girl into a woman. Some may prevail at this task the first go around, while many others will take several attempts to create their final vision. Import Alliance is basically an event that brings all different walks of the import scene under one roof, or I should say within one gigantic oval track, the Nashville Speedway. People brought their cars in all different shapes, sizes, finishes, and styles. It was great to see thousands of enthusiasts all together. We look forward to more of these events and plan on attending more in the future. I didn't get to take many pics, but I am sure you guys know how to search the internet to find some. Here's a few from the trip. | AuthorZen Motors ArchivesOctober 2011 CategoriesAll |
